Fayetteville’s Julianne Moore Wins Best Actress Golden Globe for ‘Game Change’!

Fayetteville, North Carolina native Julianne Moore (Carrie) has won the Golden Globe Award from the Hollywood Foreign Press for Best Actress in a TV Movie or Mini Series for her protrayal of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in the HBO original film Game Change.

Game Change, which premiered on HBO in the summer of 2010, also won the Golden Globe Award for Best TV Movie, Musical, or Mini Series during the ceremony on Sunday night.

Moore will soon be seen in the horror remake Carrie and the fantasy epic Seventh Son (pictured below).
