New ‘Banshee’ Teaser Flashes First Images

Our first official look at the new Cinemax series Banshee, currently in production around Charlotte, North Carolina, has arrived online, and while it’s not much different than the first teaser released last week, there is a quick flash of images (and skin) added at the end to give just a taste of what’s to come.

The brand new teaser for Banshee premiered on HBO in front of the True Blood season finale on Sunday. Check it out in the player below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Antony Starr (Rush), Ivana Milicevic (Charlie’s Angels), and Matt Servitto (Hitch), star in Banshee, along with Ulrich Thomsen (The Celebration), Frankie Faison (The Wire), Rus Blackwell (Recount), Ryann Shane (Blue Bloods), Lili Simmons (Geek Charming), Chelsea Cardwell (What to Expect When You’re Expecting), Michael Roark (Magic Mike), Odette Annable (Cloverfield), and Ben Cross (Star Trek).

Executive produced by Alan Ball (True Blood, Six Feet Under) and Greg Yaitanes (House, Lost), the action drama centers on an ex-convict and master thief (Antony Starr) who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, PA, where he continues his criminal activities even as he’s being hunted by the shadowy gangsters he had betrayed years earlier.

HBO-owned Cinemax began production on Banshee in and around Charlotte, NC in May.

The show will debut on Cinemax in 2013.
