The newest preview is actually almost identical to the first trailer released this summer, with the biggest difference being the first official on screen appearance of Lost alum Elizabeth Mitchell (NBC’s V) in a role she recently took over from Andrea Roth (F/X’s Rescue Me) after the pilot had been filmed in Georgia.

Elizabeth Mitchell stars in NBC's 'Revolution', filmed in WIlmington, NC.

While the pilot episode – directed by Jon Favreau (who is also currently in Wilmington shooting Iron Man 3) – was shot in Atlanta, GA, filming of the new NBC series from J.J. Abrams (Lost, Star Trek) started in Wilmington, North Carolina on July 16.

You can watch the newest extended preview for Revolution in the player below!

Revolution stars Billy Burke (The Twilight Saga), Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost, V), Tracy Spiridakos (Being Human), Tim Guinee (Iron Man, Vampires), Anna Lise Phillips (Terra Nova), Zak Orth (Romeo + Juliet), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Daniella Alonso (One Tree Hill), Davie Lyons (Safe Haven), and Gastonia, North Carolina native Maria Howell (The Color Purple, The Blind Side).
